The services address the complex psychological needs of children, youth, adults and seniors in both short-term and longer-term timeframes. The services exist within the hospitals, clinics and throughout community-based programs to provide an urgent response, psychiatric assessments, treatment planning and supportive treatment for patients who are referred to services.
Access to all psychiatric services is through physician referral or directly through intake conducted by a health professional.
