Are you experiencing an emergency?

Call 9-1-1 if you or someone you love requires immediate medical attention for illness/injuries/overdose or the person is at risk of seriously harming themselves or others.

Are you experiencing suicidal thoughts?

If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide, call 1-800-784-2433 (1-800-SUICIDE). Phone lines are open 24/7.

Are you Looking for a family physician?

People looking for information on how to find a family doctor should visit the Pathways Medical Care Directory. Read more tips about using the directory here.

Are you concerned about possible poisoning or exposure to a toxic substance?

Call poison control now at 1-800-567-8911.

Do you require assistance navigating/looking for services?

Can any organization or program/service be listed on the site?

There are firm guidelines around the types of services that are included in our Community Service directory. Please see our data entry guidelines below to understand the scope of our directory and the standards by which inclusion/exclusion decisions are made:

To be eligible, programs must be free or low cost and be a recurring program. We do not add private pay services, with the exception of child disability services, mental health services, addiction treatment centres, sometimes pediatric services and low-cost/subsidized housing services. In addition, we do not add individual allied health providers, apart from the following exceptions:

  • Counselling services that offer free or low-cost mental health or addiction counselling.
  • Dental services that offer free and low-cost dental.
  • Centres that provide private assessments and treatments of pediatric conditions like autism, developmental delay, ADHD etc.

How can I get my organization, program/service listed?

We will be happy to review your organization or service for inclusion in our directory. Please email us at community-services@pathwaysbc.ca. There is no cost for applying or inclusion in our database.

Why can't I find resources in my community?

If you have suggestions for resources that could be added to the directory, please email us at community-services@pathwaysbc.ca.

I found some inaccurate information. Who can I contact?
