Student Health services offers a range of health assessments and treatments provided by doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses. Appointments are available to students in British Columbia by phone, video, or in person.
The University of British Columbia (UBC) provides a wide range of confidential health and wellness services for students, supported by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Services are exclusively for registered UBC students only. The following services are offered:
  • Student Health Service: Offers primary and preventative healthcare, including diagnosis and treatment, sexual and reproductive health, immunizations, mental health support, and specialist referrals. Book online or by calling 604-822-7011.
  • Counselling Services: Provides support for mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, identity, relationships, and academic challenges. Includes individual counselling, group therapy, and culturally responsive programs. Call 604-822-3811 for same-day or scheduled appointments.
  • Wellness Centre: A drop-in peer support space offering education on health topics (e.g., sleep, nutrition, stress, sexual health), harm reduction services (naloxone kits, fentanyl test strips), and a Sexual Health Shop.

    Students can book telehealth or in-person appointment.
