- The Branch Service Officer can offer advice to any Veteran seeking benefits through Veterans Affairs Canada.
- Adjusting to Civilian Life: Initiating referrals to Canadian Armed Forces Transition Services for support with relocation and finding employment.
- Provides assistance at every stage of the disability claim process through Veterans Affairs Canada. Also supports individuals and their families in accessing transition services, mental health resources, emergency financial assistance, and other available financial supports.
- Medical Equipment Loan Cupboard - Wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, commodes, bath benches, and more are available at this local Branch. No charge for members.
- Through the Poppy Trust Fund, Legion Branches may grant bursaries to the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Veterans who require financial support to pursue higher education. In addition, as part of its commitment to youth, many Branches award scholarships from their General Funds. These scholarships recognize scholastic achievement and provide support to young people in the community. Criteria for these awards are determined by the local Branch or Provincial Command.
- Social and recreational activities such as card games, line dancing, and darts.
Membership is open to anyone. Memberships average $55/year.
