Provided by Together Against Poverty Society (TAPS)
- Taxes: Provides free virtual tax filing services to the community. In order to file, people need to come by our office, located at 828 View, pick up and complete a tax package, and drop it back off to be filed.
- Persons With Disabilities: Provides assistance applying for provincial PWD benefits.
- Federal Disability Advocacy: Provide assistance regarding Canada Pension Plan Disability benefits and the Disability Tax Credit.
- Employment Standards: Helps workers navigate the Employment Standards Act.
- Residential Tenancy: Provide information and advice to tenants in regards to the Residential Tenancy Act. Topics commonly addressed include eviction notices, return of security deposits, quiet enjoyment concerns, and lack of service and repairs.
- Income Assistance: Provide information and advice regarding the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction.
