Offers supports for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease
The Kidney Foundation of Canada is committed to patient services, public education, organ donation awareness, peer and community support and communications. The BC & Yukon Branch is able to offer a well-integrated system that emphasizes the following programs and services.

Information & Referral: Provide useful information about kidney disease and treatment options to help guide patients through the process of adjusting to living with kidney disease
Publications & Educational Materials: The foundation provides a variety of free, comprehensive materials for those diagnosed with kidney disease, including brochures and videos.
Financial & Practical Assistance: Information about a variety of programs are available to assist you, including Kidney Suites, Living Organ Donor Expense Reimbursement Programs, Short-term financial assistance programs and Travel Loans. To find out what is available in your region and if you are eligible, speak to your social worker at the unit or hospital where you are receiving treatment or contact the Kidney Foundation branch office near you.
Peer Support & Community Groups: Volunteer Chapters and other Community Groups have been formed to support those with kidney disease. To make a request for peer support, you can click here to use the online form or call 1-866-390-PEER (7337) to speak with a program coordinator.
