Asthma Education Program

Provided by Interior Health

Provides asthma education to pediatric and adult patients, focusing on self-management skills, helping individuals achieve well-controlled asthma and to recognize worsening asthma.
Entry into program includes peak flow monitoring, action plans and ongoing follow-up and support. Offers supervised exercises through the Health Improvement Network Fitness Program.

Adult Referrals: The referral to the COK Asthma Education program must only be made with a confirmed diagnosis of asthma. Please note spirometry is not performed as part of this appointment.
Pediatric Referrals: The referral to the COK Asthma Education program must only be made with a confirmed or highly suspect diagnosis of asthma.
